ASMP Collaborates With chasejarvisLIVE on Special Web Event

Philadelphia, PA... An interactive discussion about the future of creative rights will be presented by chasejarvisLIVE in collaboration with the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) on August 29th at 3pm Eastern (12pm in Seattle and 20:00 in London). The web event, The Future of Your Creative Rights: the Good, Bad and Ugly Trends for Photographers in the New Media and How to Make it All Work for You is free of charge and open to all.


To celebrate the event, ASMP is teaming up with Fuji by giving away a Fuji X-Pro1 camera and 35 mm lens in a special drawing. Plus, the first 50 who enter will receive advance copies of the new book The ASMP Guide to New Markets in Photography. Go here to enter.


This special web episode can be accessed at and will feature a live interactive panel with Chase Jarvis, award winning photographer/director; Lawrence Lessig, founder of Creative Commons; Richard Kelly, photographer and former ASMP President; and others. The panelists will discuss the future of imaging professionals' rights in the new media era and participants are invited to tune in, ask questions, share thoughts, and get the benefit of new ideas and thinking.
